Also considering Penn Planning!
What impressions have you gotten from Penn so far? Like curriculum, professors, research, location, etc!

Hi everyone! For those of you attending UPenn or heavily considering it, I made this thread for us if anyone wants to talk about the program or has any questions. Interesting to know what others are thinking about the program!
-
Hey y'all, figured I would make a thread for the people who are committing or seriously considering UPenn's MCP program for this fall! It would be nice to here everyones opinions and thought processes on the program!

Y'all UCLA really has the audacity to make the next set of people wait two more weeks for an admissions decision lol. Anyone heard anything?
Was told by a friend and current UCLA MURP student just now that Sean e-mailed them saying "all decisions have been sent out" so this is really annoying haha.

For folks who have yet to hear from UCLA, is there any updates? Or has anyone reached out? I e-mailed Sean on Monday and he said "you will hear a decision in the coming week" so I'm thinking it would mean today... but I can also see it meaning this coming Monday... any insight?

Has anyone heard from the University of Washington yet? I've seen some admissions on the results page but haven't seen anyone talk about them. I'm pretty excited to hear from them since they're probably my first choice. Hopefully they'll be releasing more admissions soon ? ?
Hey! I haven't heard anything yet either. UW is also my first choice. I don't know why they haven't released everything yet haha looking at the past they are all sent on Feb 25-26 so this is gonna be super late.
-
Does anyone know when UW Seattle is coming out? I noticed that most MUP students hear back on the last half of the last week of February so I'm either hoping it is today or tomorrow. It also seems like a PhD student was accepted today!

Very interesting and kind of irregular...in the past years, I believe they would email you to check the portal, then snail mail you any Dean's Merit info shortly thereafter. Was it from a Professor or Sarah Esquivel? I'm with planningfor2021 here, super anxious to hear back on USC as it's one of two schools I applied to, and my top choice.
Thanks for the insight and huge congrats to you! I have a close friend in the program right now and he loves it. Hopefully the vaccine roll-out will happen in full by August so campus can re-open.
Thanks! It was from Sarah. I think I may have heard back early because I was apart of PPIA if anyone knows what that it is. Because I see that I also got a scholarship from being in PPIA.

This is nerve-wrecking. I haven't received anything from USC. How did you find out?
I received an e-mail from someone in the department. Portal isn't updated though.
