Congrats! Did you apply as an advanced standing student or the traditional two year?

For those applying to WUSTL - are any of you applying for the merit-based scholarship? There’s a required video interview and I was hoping to get some guidance on how to prepare and which questions to look out for! Tyia

Hello,
I applied to Columbia I believe in October...2020 I received a letter of acceptance today.? I am so excited! Ivy League! I know that if I do decide to go I will advance solely only based on the University's prestige. I am in California and have always wanted to make the bold move of moving to New York. This could be my opportunity. I also like that this program offers dual degree opportunities (I can go to law school... become a DBT certified therapist, etc..there are so many perks). The price is hefty, but I am definitely evaluating all factors in this wonderful opportunity...in the middle of NYC ❤️
Congratulations! That’s awesome I’m still waiting to hear my decision. Do you mind sharing your stats? Tyia!

Hello,
Applied Fall 2021: Columbia University, USC, CSUEB, SFSU, CSUN, UC Berkeley
Planning to apply: Howard University, CSU, Stanislaus, CSU, Chico, CSU, Sacramento, UCLA
Accepted: Columbia U & USC
I am so excited to be accepted into prestigious schools, however, applying to the two year full time program would mean that I would need to receive enough aid to cover some living expenses, and i won't get much support if the program is 100K+ BUT there is value in prestige. So waiting game for now...feels good to have decisions. Also, it is SUPER EXPENSIVE to apply to all of these schools but you increase your chances by applying to more...you never know, that back up school may be the one you go with!
That’s amazing! Congratulations can I ask when you submitted your app to Columbia?

Hey! Has anyone who applied to Columbia December 1 heard back yet? I know it's still early, I think they mention 4 weeks is the usual.. but just so eager!
Whoa 4 weeks - where’d you hear this? That would be awesome if they got back to us that soon but it seems like (at least from the old forums) that mid feb to late feb is the usual time ppl get their decision. I feel your eagerness though!!
