    For people who got JHU BME offers, do you get an admission to a specific track or is it just broad BME? Also, do any of you know if all admissions have been sent out?

    Again has anyone not hear anything from Duke CBB after interview? I emailed the admission coordinator but she seems out of town. I also emailed the program director but he hasn't replied either. I think if I'm in this situation, then there should be others like me as well. Please let me know I'm not alone haha .

    Did anyone not hear from Duke CBB yet? I saw some admissions and rejections but I didn't receive any emails yet, nor did my portal update.

    I also had mostly the POI interviews. Two of them are generally evaluating me and the other one told me that the offer, if there will be, is probably gonna come directly from a lab without rotation. She is judging me more for the fit of her lab I think.

    I think the offer comes with either a rotation or from a specific lab. So it probably will affect the admission directly

    I forgot to quote. Not yet. That’s what I heard too. I’m international. The professor said that international student usually direct admits to one professor’s lab without rotation. Of course there are exceptions.

    The interview professor told me that this year there are nearly 200 interviewees and they are interviewing them now. So I guess they already send out all interviews.

    I only know that WUSTL interviews 24 people this year (12 this month, 12 next month), at least for now. 60 is a pretty large number I think.

    I saw that several people received UCSD bioinformatics rejection email two days ago. Is it BISB or BMI? I haven't heard about either interview invitation or rejection email on BISB.

    Uhh I guess it's because you picked both dates so they chose to assign you to the later one. I think the early date would be a hit so they will first assign those only picked the early date to Jan 14. Don't worry, I don't think the school will waste their credit in such an ugly way haha. I'm sure you will hear back soon. Good luck with all the interviews!

    Thanks. In their second email before Christmas, they attached a form asking you to pick your interview date. You need to fill in that form and send back to them. You also need to go to the application portal and choose your interview professors and upload a profile photo. Did you do all that?
