Meanwhile, I'm anxiously sitting here with zero acceptances and three waitlists (Eastman, Northwestern, and UNC). Crazy to think that at least two of these would have been outright acceptances in any normal cycle, but at least this means I had a strong app (and I'll have a stronger app if I have to reapply next year).
All this to say: if you have an offer that you don't plan on accepting, please notify that program ASAP out of courtesy to those on waitlists!
Can guarantee a spot at either Eastman or UNC will be freed up as I'm currently deciding between those two (and one other). Not sure if that helps but I hope it provides a little bit of solace!

I was told I would hear back mid February from a few places and everyones gone radio silent..
looks like quite a few brown rejections went out on tuesday (including my own ?) - haven't seen any acceptances/waitlists though, so could be a good sign for you? who knows!

Been a rough week, hasn't it? I was rejected at Harvard and Brown (on the same day ?) but thankfully have two other great options. Still waiting on a couple more schools.

Not from U of Toronto, but that was essentially my message from UNC. I'm still in the running, but the number of additional acceptances to the program depends on what the deans say. So I'd guess that's a wordy way to say you're on the wait list? Fingers crossed its not like other programs still figuring out if they can take anyone. Such a weird year.

received a somewhat cryptic message from u of toronto (musicology) saying my application was still under consideration but that they had to figure out how many students they could take - anyone else?

I've officially committed to Yale for Musicology! So excited to move out to the east coast. Congrats to everyone and good luck to those still making decisions!
