  1. I know the deadline to accept is tomorrow so you might have already gotten an answer and made a decision, but I haven't heard anything either. At their open house, I asked about it and they said that most funding offers were already sent out a couple weeks ago, and the rest won't be sent until after April 15. So it's still possible to receive funding if you haven't heard yet, but you probably won't find out before the deadline tomorrow.
  2. I’m currently deciding between my top choice and another school... my top would cost an extra $10k total, so I’m trying to weigh whether that’s worth it or not!
  3. Pratt is the last one I’m waiting on, too. Haven’t had any communication since submitting my application (which was a bit later, sometime late January). Looks like they’re still accepting applications? but I hope to hear from them soon!
  4. I have a feeling we’ll receive the update on funding with (or after) the official letter of admission once they verify our materials. Which I’m thinking will take a few weeks, but I’m hoping it comes sooner than that!
  5. I appreciate all of the insight, it’s helpful to hear where others are at in terms of the financial side! I’m very grateful for all of the funding offers I’ve received so far, but still trying to be realistic about how many loans I want to add on to my undergrad debt. Still, it’s an experience I’m willing to pay for as an investment in myself and my career!
  6. What do you guys consider a “decent scholarship”? I’m still waiting on scholarship info from half of my schools, but the offers I’ve received so far have been around half tuition. I’m just conflicted on how much debt is worth it, if maybe I should reapply next year, or just go for it and hope to get more funding the second year. I know it’s all up to personal circumstances, but I was just curious how much in loans others are willing to take out for their top choice programs.
  7. Yeah, the info is all very confusing and conflicting. I got a similar scholarship to you so if it was 54k I would not be considering it ?
  8. Looking at the website, I think the tuition was about 39k for 20-21. Unless you’re talking about the MPP, which looks like it is 54k. Some programs only require the tuition for the first year (not the MA/MS UEP though)
  9. I actually never received any emails about portal updates, and my portal still looks the same too. The updated funding was in an email this morning as a reply to the initial acceptance email that I received on Monday. I think just be on the lookout for emails from them, hopefully it comes soon!
  10. For anyone else wondering about the UNC funding update - I also got an email about it this morning. It’s a substantial increase from my initial offer, so now I can consider it as a serious option! It’s still not the most affordable school for me, even with the potential for in-state tuition in the second year, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive more funding.
  11. Updating as I heard back from a few schools this past week - in at UNC, UT Austin, and CU Denver. UNC is currently my top choice so I was kind of disappointed to get very little funding. Anyone else apply to CU Denver or have insight on the program? So far it’s definitely looking to be the cheapest option, but I haven’t heard much about the quality of the program. Wondering whether it would be worth it to pay more to go elsewhere. Still waiting on funding info from other schools though ?
  12. Thanks! Nothing about an interview, just that more information would follow in the coming weeks
  13. Nah, Berkeley was the only school in California I applied to ? hope you hear back soon!
  14. I haven’t heard back from a single school yet, including Berkeley! I’m still holding out hope but mentally preparing for a rejection since I know that was a bit of a reach. Patience is not my strong suit...
