HBS updates should be done tonight!

I heard Kellogg's waiting to hear how many fellowships they can offer this year. This is out of the department's hands. I was on call with Harvard faculty recently who said email notifications will be sent out "soon" (I didn't ask, they just told me this lol).

Just received an admissions call from Stanford GSB -- looks like there's no interviews this year!

Awesome! I was actually just guessing, but that's great to confirm. I interviewed with the Management department. Hbu?

I interviewed with faculty last Friday and this week on Monday and today (total of 5 faculty members and 4 interviews). I also didn't hear anything about the number of slots or folks shortlisted. A lot of decisions should be out over these next two weeks.

Wharton OID just sent out acceptances! The email indicates they accepted 3 students per subject area (9 total).

I've heard MORS Departments are taking fewer students than in previous years. Does anyone have insight on how many PhD students HBS, Wharton, Columbia, or other programs are accepting?

Congratulations on your interviews and best of luck this application cycle! I'll also share an update for others tracking program notifications. I applied to OB (micro) programs with the exception of Wharton: Accepted to a program listed on the acceptance page last week. Kellogg: Interviewed this week. Will likely hear back next week. Stern: Received interview invite this week. Wharton OID: Interviewed in early January. Will likely hear back by mid-February. HBS: First interview in early January. Second interview with faculty this week. I'm waiting to hear from Yale SOM, Fuqua, Stanford GSB and CBS. I think you're right that these interview notifications should all be in by early February.

I applied to 10 programs and have heard back about 4 interviews + 1 acceptance. One of my faculty mentors told me interviews at HBS, Wharton, and other top programs are basically a formality, but I find this hard to believe!

For the highest ranked OB programs listed on the results page, does anyone have a sense of how many students are invited for interviews vs accepted each year?
