Or maybe waitlist? I’m assuming due to high cost of tuition they have a large number of people turn down admission. I’m getting back to them this week to say no. Hopefully you’ll hear something soon! I don’t think it hurts to reach out and ask.

Oh nice! I applied to ceramics at UArk, Yale, Georgia, UConn and SAIC. Then also the art theory practice program at Northwestern.

I really feel like it went well! But who knows. It’s my top choice so that makes it extra verve racking. The program is so small I really wonder how many people they interviewed. How do you feel yours went?

I interviewed with ceramics the 29th and am anxiously waiting ?. All they told me was “within a couple weeks”.

No, I haven’t heard anything either. Did you check your status through slide room or their site? I tried to check through their site yesterday and it wasn’t working so I gave up for now hah. I applied for ceramics. What about you?

I’m still waiting to hear back from UGA! I think I maybe read on a previous mfa freak out forum that they’re notoriously late at getting back requests, etc.?

I interviewed at Arkansas and have an interview at Northwestern. Still waiting to hear from UGA and UConn. Oh and rejected from Yale ? haha. What about you?

My BFA is in painting. I do actually have upcoming interviews there for ceramics and painting, so it’s not like I wouldn’t recommend it. I just personally don’t see myself accepting any place where you have to pay for any MFA. Figured I’d see what SAIC was willing to give money wise, but don’t expect much. I went there for undergrad. I had a good experience but the amount of debt it left me with is something I wouldn’t do again.
