Weird question but I received a fafsa reminder email from the university I applied to & I’ve never received such emails from any other uni I’ve applied to before … is this perhaps suggesting an acceptance? Or am I reading into it?

What does it mean if I haven’t heard back from a school yet? Should I email my poi to show her my continued interest in hopes of bumping me up or is that frowned upon?

I haven't seen anything change on my application status except "Submitted" and the recs saying "completed". Did you have any prior communication with a professor before submitting? I sent an email to one but he stated that they do things different there so it was basically no use to email beforehand.
