Congrats to all the admissions accepted! Received rejections from UVA this morning. I guess in the next a couple of days I will just leave the forum and be prepared for enjoying my Chinese Lunar Year Festival break. Will be back if I get any acceptance. Hope everyone in the forum will get at least an offer this month!

I don't know any. I even didn't receive waitlist from UVA. I think it is time to recognize the failure.

Upon my information, no one in IR subfield has received anything this year. I think the IR subfield comes out later than others this year, as I have seen some rejection from AP or CP subfields.

Don't give up so early. I withdraw what I said a few moments ago. Actually all offers that I have seen from UVA are AP, and none of them is IR. I think we could just be patient and see how it goes.

Me, too. I have not received anything from UVA. Seems like I am out of consideration this year. Have you received a notification for waiting list or acceptance?

Would please tell us what subfields are you applying for?

Does UVA have interview for the applicants? I don't know anyone at the department of politics but I have heard other departments have their interview, or even some offers sent.

Haven't received anything from UVA yet. I guess they just wanna prepare for some students accepted would have other offers.

Congrats and glad to hear that! But also pity for myself. I guess maybe I should be prepared to receive the rejection from USC now.

I also applied for UVA. Actually I have already heard that there are interviews informed or even offers issued for other programs such as education, sociology, but I really don't know whether poli sci has the interview.
