Rhyzome

Hi! I just got an email from U Mass Amherst (yes, at midnight) saying my application status is updated, and that I can check the details in the website. But when I went to the website the update was still pending, and there was nothing new. I am assuming that I got rejected, because I found a pattern that most of the accepted people get notified through emails, not the website. I'm not devastated, since I know my chances are slim here, but I'm just curious. I expected my first result to be either bliss or sorrow, and didn't expect this kind of confusion. Did anybody else ever have this experience?
