  1. Hello Friends I wish to study MA in IR (Energy, Resources and Environment) at SAIS. I have an Industrial engineering degree from SUNY - Buffalo. Have been working in the field of Supply Chain Management for the last 10 years. Have worked across the entire value chain, in various roles. I feel public policy (geopolitics) and the global energy/climate situation is going to force more innovations in the Supply Chain. Hence the desire to study IR. The idea to study IR is to shift my scope of work from a corporate/process oriented role to a more strategic role. I dont know whether an MBA would serve the purpose just fine I am 34 years old living in the US. No previous background in Economics. except for Operations Research (OR) Courses during my Graduate Study. Integer Programming etc. No work experience in International Relations. The only thing international about my experience is that I have been designing supply chain processes for global organizations (5 companies on the Fortune 200) for the last 10 years. Am I too late to get into such an aggressive program. Do I have the right background to get into such a program. Please help. thanks, RP
