I want to stay on the academic track and eventually go on to do a PhD in either CompLit (which I studied as an undergrad) or Slavic Studies. I'm hoping doing an MA would help me refine my research interests and fill in the gaps in my knowledge of the Russian tradition. I studied the language for 4 years, did a summer abroad, and wrote a senior project on Russian literature/literary theory, but I still feel like doing an MA first would really help me formulate a PhD project (as well as give me a taste of what graduate studies might be like)!
