Oh interesting! They said I didn’t meet a pre-req which is kind of crazy based on my background degree profession. How did you go about getting your pre-req re-evaluated? They never asked me for clarification or course syllabus for the course I believe should meet the pre-req. congrats btw!

It doesn’t seem like Athabasca’s online program is too popular on here... but if anyone has applied, just wondering if you’ve heard anything? They did tell me back in February that decisions this year would be delayed about a month to end April/ beginning May. But I’m gettin antsy!

I applied to Athabasca! The one and only program I applied to due to adult life constraints so fingers crossed ? Did you?

Yes there are! So for those in Alberta it’s not a bad option. AU is pretty well connected for practicums in Alberta as well as this program has been around for around 2 decades I believe. Im curious to know how many others out there have applied and if they’ve heard a decision yet on their application. ?

Hi! ??‍♀️ Anyone out there apply to Athabasca Master of Counselling Psychology? It was my only option (for public, accredited uni) since I am a “mature” applicant and already well into a career, so online part-time is my only option. And I’m not too fussed about becoming a psychologist at this point- which would still be an option in Alberta though with this degree. Anyone out there apply to AU? Been accepted?
