Because in previous years, many people who were in the same situation ended up being rejected... They say "under graduate school review" is bad news and "recommended for admission" is good news (for UMD's application status). I guess we will find out if that's true when I hear the final decision.

Hi Mahreen, my application status just changed from "under department review" to "under graduate school review" today. Based on posts from previous years on UMD's application status, it's probably not a good sign... Maybe you want to check your portal and see whether there's an update. Best of luck to you!

I know, it's taking so long at UMD and OISE. I wonder if I got waitlisted or just ghosted... It's hard to tell my chances at JHU. I think the interview went well. The program lead also said both interviewers were excited about my interview with them and that I would hear back before April 23...My potential supervisor said if any student declines an offer, a new position will open up. Strangely, I haven't seen any acceptance to JHU's education PhD program on the results page. I know some applicants don't post their results here, but there are at least some admits from previous years... I hope you get off the waitlist at UCSD! Did they mention when you will hear back?

Hi, thanks for starting this thread and congrats on your 3 acceptances! I also got waitlisted at my top choice (JHU) and am waiting to hear from Maryland and OISE, UoT. Let's hope for the best.

Hello everyone! I applied to the PhD in Education at The University of Toronto (OISE) back in November and haven't heard back (no interview). Does anyone know what's going on? Is anyone else in the same boat?
