How much in loans are you all considering?? My first choice would require at least 30k in loans and I’m trying to decide if that’s way too much or a normal amount to consider

Northwestern Round 2 Folks: Have you heard back on scholarships?? I’m wondering if I should officially throw in the towel soon and assume I’m not getting any scholarship money from them, which would mean I’m declining their offer

No email, but my portal was updated with an acceptance to the MA!

I’m a CA resident too and got a $15,000/year scholarship — I think that’ll put it about on par with NYU with aid for me. The possibility of TA positions makes me lean toward Berkeley but it’s hard to get a sense of the chances of actually landing one

Nope, nothing from Columbia yet — sorry if that wording was confusing! I applied for the M.A.

Okay I also just got an acceptance call from Medill! But, they said financial aid info won’t be out until possibly Friday of NEXT week ? honestly, the acceptances are meaningless to me without the financial aid info because I can’t attend without some financial support. I wish they’d realize that/prioritize getting the financial stuff out sooner. Here’s hoping to generous, need-based financial aid offers all around to the folks that need it ??

Congrats!!! And thanks for letting us know!! Really really hoping to also hear from Columbia and Berkeley financial aid today so I can start with the decision making this weekend, it’s gonna be tough. I’m also in at NYU, I think $$$ is going to be the biggest deciding factor for me.

Has anyone heard about financial aid from Berkeley yet? I got an email that I was recommended for admission last week and to expect an email with financial aid details sometime this week...
