They did not. Anselise Chen called me, so all I know is that it's not a general admissions person making the phone calls. Sorry! Wish I had more info to give. But I truly think they are just making the calls or sending the emails when it's convenient for them--no rhyme or reason.
She called at 5pm, so end of workday
I agree. As long as we haven't heard "no" we have a shot! Let me know if they email you back. My friend was accepted into Columbia's poetry program last year. She heard the last week of the March.... ?
I too would like to know if there has be any word about Columbia rejections on draft. So far I've only heard of one person for fiction receiving a rejection letter.
From my understanding some rejections have gone out and some acceptances have gone out via email OR phone call. Seems like there is no rhyme or reason to their methods. Someone did mention that they have been known to call over the weekend, so FINGERS CROSSED for everyone waiting to hear ??
Hi all!
I'm wondering if anyone has any news about Iowa? My online profile still says "in progress," but I read that letters are being sent via snail mail regarding waitlists. Has anyone received a waitlist or rejection letter yet? I'm wondering if I should call the admissions office and ask them for an update (???) thanks!
