I guess if they are so late, like this, they have to make changes and adjust. Hire more people, I don’t know. Is not that the pandemic stroke this year... I understand it makes things harder, but we did apply on time and managed to fulfill all the requirements during very hard times...I agree with all of your points. I have already made my application in my chosen university, they called me for the last interview. But I still dont know if I'm gonna accept it or not (it depends on the result of DAAD). My status is also paper copies received.

I agree. They probably mean that you can't change the works you have submitted or add anything that wasn't in the original portfolio.
I wrote an email to the local officer, here in DAAD Brazil, asking if I could change the works on my portfolio. So he told me this: "Changes on the portfolio won't be allowed". I asked him again by email about the Page numbers but he didn't answer yet.

Hi guys,
For those who are applying for Postgraduate Studies in the Fields of Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication and Film, i have a question. The DAAD officer sent me by email that "Changes on the portfolio won't be allowed". However, when we sent our portfolio in November there weren't page limits. My portfolio had more than 50 pages, so I must change it now (to fit on the 10 pages limit). I have alrealdy done the changes (just layout, I didn't change the works). But now I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong.

I agree. I believe they're gonna take the decision after this, it makes no sense to make it before. Another point is that they asked us to combine our work samples into a single PDF max 10 pages, so I'll have to make a few adjustments for this.

Hello! I'm also from ARTS, DESIGN & FILM and I didn't receive any notification yet, just the confirmation of my application on November. My status is also "paper copies received". However, I read at this forum some people had received a notification saying they were selected to the next round and the decision would be taken a few weeks later. Is anyone at the same situatuon of mine?
Last year the results came out on March 13rd, so I was expecting it would be near that too this year. Good luck to everybody!

Ow my status just turned to Application Rejected ? that's the end for me too.
