Hey all, I am going to Tulane, but I was also accepted to SUNY at Buffalo. I formally declined that offer, so someone on the waitlist will get that spot. The SUNY program looks amazing, but ultimately, I went with Tulane. It was a hard choice and I changed my mind a few times before my final decision.

Hopefully you will get into Penn and you will not have to take another path. It is interesting that all the decisions are not made yet, but some know for sure that they are accepted or declined.

The three year post-grad lines schools up to get accreditation, which is on the horizon for DSW program. If they do not require 3 years post-grad, they cannot get accredited.

There was not an interview. I think I found about 5-6 weeks later. I think Tulane added another cohort to fall. I will know more soon. Thinking about another cohort...it makes me wonder about Penn. Maybe they are considering another cohort, and they are holding back on final decisions until they know. Just a guess though, and it looks like only one person on here does not know. Or maybe they are waiting for everyone to respond?

Those are different questions. I remember the questions changed not long before I submitted my application. I called and confirmed that I could still submit the old questions, which I had spent a lot of time on. I wrote one essay that addressed all questions asked.

I start in the fall. Maybe the fall cohort is full?

I think if you do not get in, your should consider a creative writing career. That is an awesome sentence.

I did not realize there were that many offers reported here. That makes me think that most who are in now know. Unless there are really struggling to determine who gets the last couple of offers. What does everyone else think?

How many acceptances are reported here? One? Two? Hard to say how many know.

It seems hard to understand that Penn would wait a week to make more offers. Does anyone think all the offers are out?

Wow. This is surprising. I thought they said they would be out by mid April.

I am accepted at Tulane - which is macro with some clinical applications. There is lots of room for Advanced Practice Projects with clinical applications. I looked at several schools (Simmons, Alabama, USC). My situation is unique (as we all are!). I am very clinically focused but I already have a lot of clinical experience and I want to expand my skill set.

That must be frustrating. Hang in there!

Any more Penn news? I assume they must be done their calls by now?

I cannot imagine how many applications Penn received this year, but I bet it was a lot more than usual.

These posts are on the unicorn thread! There is not a lot out there for DSW applicants. Anyone apply to Tulane?
