Hi! I have a question about the offer. In the Activation of Adward form it says 'Award recipients who are already enrolled in their program of studies are encouraged to take up their award on the earliest available date. For further information, refer to the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) Award Holder’s Guide'. Does anyone know the reason? I'm already in my program, and I'm holding another scholarship untill September, so not sure if I can make the CGSM to September. Also just wanna make it clear, is the offer expiry date April 22? It says it should be 22 days after the date of offer, but my date of offer shows in the portal is Mar 20th, which is quite confusing (April 1st is the result available date).

This info can be found once I log in to the portal: Not Offered: The application has been deemed non meritorious in the institution’s competition. Subsequent offers may NOT be made to the applicant. Ineligible: The application has been deemed ineligible based on the eligibility criteria outlined in the funding opportunity description. I also saw a table somewhere on the nserc website says it will be based on the 3rd and 4th years grade if you are already in the graduate program, and beased on 2nd and 3rd year if you are in your final year. Unfortunately, my 2nd year grade is much better than my 4th year, but I'm already in my program. (

If not having the first class average, it will be ‘not offered’ instead of ‘ineligible’ according to the website.
