Frustrating, but sharing this in case folks are worried if they haven't heard any news yet. Sounds like this is a SSHRC IT issue and again, not a reflection of being funded/rejected. Hope this helps and fingers crossed we hear directly from SSHRC early next week.
Very frustrating... Do you mind sharing what university/department you're from? I'm at UBC and nothing so far...

I emailed the graduate awards clerk for my faculty. They didn’t give me any info regarding where I was on the alt list though, just the number of CGSMs left pending.

To my UBC peers: I found out through the grad awards office that (as of monday) there were 7 CGSMs still pending, and today I received an offer for SSHRC. So there is still hope for those on the alt list!

I was waitlisted for UBC too! Similarly disappointed. Do you (or anyone else reading) have any idea how many applications are given alternate status at UBC? It seems like some schools have very long lists and others not so much...

Thank you for the advice, I just did! Successful!! Still don’t know if it’s a CGS-D or fellowship but now I can relax 😅. Still no email from SSHRC though.
