Hey everyone, I was offered SSHRC at York just today after being an alternate. Good news is I can put this on my CV, bad news is I am going to Carleton ?. So it's bitter sweet, but I had completely given up and was suprised. Good luck to everyone else!

To anyone waitlisted at Concordia for SSHRC. Just got word that they actively monitor the portal and give out awards as they come available rather than every three weeks. For what ever that's worth!

Got a CIHR CGS-M at UBC! Was waitlisted (alternate) last year and never got off the list, so I'm very happy to have gotten it this time around. Last year, I was never told my ranking or any feedback (the Faculty declined). I know that UBC has a large number of allocations, and through the grapevine I learned that they waitlist around 15-25% of their allocation numbers.

EDIT: Also through the grapevine - UBC (at least the Faculty of Medicine) does rounds of offers after each round expires... I.e. every 3 weeks. So you can save yourself the constant refreshing
