I didn't get any kind of confirmation email. A few days later I emailed them back to ask for confirmation and then got an email saying: "I will sending the information in the next couple of weeks." Whatever that means...

Thanks! At the time of application I had four publications (two first-author), one submitted publication, and six conference talks (a couple national and the rest regional).

Just received notification of my results at 1:22, committee 179 (chemistry), application number 571***. Received a CGS-D, and couldn't be more grateful! Good luck to everyone else and congratulations to everyone who received an award!

Damn, sorry to hear that! Same committee, my application number also started with 57, but still waiting. Sincerely wishing you the best of luck next year, definitely sounds like it was a strong application!

Still nothing yet! I emailed my grad admin (uOttawa) but was told they weren't at liberty to share the results before NSERC.

Congrats! Do you mind if I ask who contacted you (i.e., was it the faculty of graduate studies or was it your department/faculty)? I'm in the faculty of science at uottawa and have yet to hear anything, so wondering if you were contacted by someone in the faculty of engineering
