Hello, I'm a Canadian Student, just finishing up a MFA in Visual Art and my BFA was in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have a great GPA, and I have a nice scholarship under my belt that makes my resume look great. I want to move straight into an MA program for next Fall, preferably in Art Theory, Contemp. Art Histry Studies, Contemp. Curatorial Studies, or Art Histry, etc. (With a focus on Modernity onward, not pre-modern). With my MFA I applied to dozens of schools, and got into some big name schools in the USA (without funding), and smaller schools Canada and USA (with funding). In retrospect it was a mistake in applying to the big name schools without fact checking their funding for international students. This time around, I only want to apply to schools that will offer me a package. Does anyone know of any good schools/MA programs that offer funding (small and/or large). I'm looking for universities in CAN, Europe, and USA. The schools don't need to be Ivy (but if so that's ok), just good funding for a Contemporary Art MA (not MFA). Any tips, suggestions?
