I'm planning on applying to masters programs in Epi/Public health for a fall 2022 start! Currently my list of programs I'm considering includes MPH Epi at UofT (my 1st choice for masters in Canada), MScPH and MSc Epi at McGill (leaning towards MScPH), possibly MSc Epi at uOttawa, and MSc Epi or Control of Infectious Diseases at LSHTM but that's if I can secure enough funding to study abroad.
Hey! I will be starting this fall with UofT’s Epi program! Feel free to msg if you have any questions regarding the application process

Thank you, I got it at 10:30 am on Wednesday. Sure my 2YGpa was 3.95. I had experience volunteering in hospitals and was part of various clubs at school, and involved with a couple research papers. Graduated in 2020 and since than have been working for Rexall as a patient analyst.
Thanks for sharing! Was your cGPA also quite high?

Hey everyone, I received an offer from Uoft's MPH Epi program. I am going to accept the offer and was wondering if there was a groupchat or a facebook page with other students joining the program this fall as I would love to connect.
Congrats!!! What time did you receive your offer?! Also what are your stats and experiences if you don’t mind sharing!

i finally have some good news to share here ! i got off the waitlist at McGill !!!!! I had given up all hopes and was so discouraged
However, could someone please help me differentiate between a non-thesis and thesis masters. besides the research experience vs practice, is it possible to do a non-thesis master, practice for a while and go back for a phd ? or is a thesis required
Congrats!!! What stats and experiences did you apply with btw?
