I am currently a student in the MA Biblical Studies program at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. I am aware now that degrees from Evangelical Seminaries, specifically Baptist ones are worthless in the academic world. My question of advice is what would be my best option moving forward? My goal is to teach and I have no issue with teaching at an Evangelical School in the future but I would like to receive quality education and have more diversity in my education rather than only having degrees from Evangelical Schools. Would it be a viable option to apply to another Masters program at a different school after completion of my current degree? Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!
