Last year rejects came out exactly one week from today!

second time round, I find myself not following the chatter too closely - it's better to just wait for the inevitable email to come in!

Applying (again) to Michigan! Focusing on economic sociology & organizations. They have consistently released results around mid-Feb, and last year was on 22 Feb! Why did you shortlist Michigan? For me, top choice for research fit and the relevant interdisciplinary work at the university as a whole.

Anyone heard from Cornell, they seem late this year. Also, did Michigan really only have two accepts and no waitlists in the results board.. Share your results friends ?

Unfortunately, yes! Together with the fact that last year's acceptances, based on the result board, were also all on 15 Feb.

Looks like it's safe to say all UMich acceptances are out! I wonder if waitlists are out too.

So, based on ongoing observations, how does this cycle compare to last year / pre-pandemic in terms of competition?
