  1. The acceptance did not come with information about funding. The school I applied to is Rutgers and I would be taking classes at their Camden campus. I checked the link you provided and Rutgers New Brunswick and Rutgers Newark are on that list, but not Camden, however, my application materials had to be sent to the New Brunswick campus for the program I applied to, and the letter I received came from New Brunswick as well. I guess I will contact the school to try to find out more information. Thanks.
  2. I got accepted to one of the 4 schools to which I am applying. The deadline was actually yesterday and I already got an acceptance letter from the school today (quite shocked that it happened that fast). In the letter they sent me it says that they need to hear from me if I will be accepting or declining admission to that school within 2 weeks. That seems like a really fast time, especially since I might not hear from my top choice by then, and one other school's application deadline is not even until April 1, so I definitely will not have heard anything from them in the next 2 weeks. Does anyone know how strictly enforced this time limit is for schools? I would like to be able to consider all options, but I also do not want to turn down this school if it turns out to be the only place I am accepted. Thanks for any advice you can give.
  3. Thanks, just sent e-mails a few minutes ago.
  4. I had a group interview yesterday. It started out as me and 12 other applicants and the director of the program gave us some information about the program (Counseling Psychology) overall. Then we were split into 2 groups, so it was me and 6 other people. For the actual portion of the interview the 7 of us were supposed to discuss a few different topics. The 2 professors doing the "interviewing" were simply watching us and keeping track of time. I understand that the purpose was to see how we interacted with other people we had just met and to see what we would take away from the process. What type of thank you letter should I send? Would an e-mail to the 2 professors who observed and the the head of the department thanking them for their time be appropriate, or should I send hand-written letters? Should I send a letter to the other professor who was present at the beginning (during the information session) but not present for my group's portion of the interview (she was with the other group)? I want to make sure I do this quickly. They are having interviews today too, but then they will be starting to make their decisions around the end of this week. Any help would be appreciated.
