Schools Rejected From: Princeton Still Waiting: CU Denver Undergraduate Institution: Small unknown public school in the Midwest Undergraduate GPA: 3.6 Undergraduate Major: History & English GRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: 161q / 170v / 5.5 Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 5 Years of Work Experience: 5 (1.5 full-time, rest is part time) Describe Relevant Work Experience: 1 year AmeriCorps, substantial political volunteer experience Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): Likely strong. I may have strained credulity by trying to stich my disparate work history into a coherent story. Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): Two professors and one former supervisor. All of them knew me well and seemed willing and able to provide strong recommendations. Other: I think I'm going to CMU! For what it's worth, I'm not attached to any name-brand institutions. You've never heard of my college or my employers. However, I had some interesting accomplishments that I was able to add to my SOP.

Admitted to MSSPM-DA today with 80% scholarship (50% from the automatic AmeriCorps award). Sounds like I'm going to CMU! I hope everyone else hears back soon.

I've heard back from Goldman (accepted but no funding). Now just waiting on Heinz so I can decide between them and LBJ. The wait is killing me!

Nothing for me yet. I applied for the MSSPM DA in January.

I applied to the MPAff at UT Austin on Dec 1st and have now heard back, but I'm not sure how typical I am. They might just be late in releasing all of the results.

For some reason most of the other schools I applied to haven't sent anything back to me, so I'm still waiting a bit longer. In lieu of another great offer coming along though I think I'll take it!

Congrats! I also just got the same offer: 75% off non-resident tuition plus my AmeriCorps scholarship.

Was accepted today. Says I received a fellowship, and should get details on how much within a week.

No, I don't think so. Mine has said that same thing since I applied in December.

Also waiting on MPAff admissions notice. Here's hoping it comes through sooner rather than later this year!
