just got accepted but for my second choice! Does anyone know if Fall 2022/Winter2023 is online? For those that registered in classes

My application went from Recommended for assessment to Review in progress by department is that bad???

For those admitted for Fall 2022, do you know if the program is fully in person? Or are they offering an online/hybrid model? Just curious!

Still under preliminary review required ? Should I email them or is it too early still? I applied for DFP as first choice.........could it be because one of my references is non-academic? (it was my manger and she highlighted my research abilities)

Hi everyone, I am in the process of applying to the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. For those of you currently enrolled in this Masters Program, can you please give me some advice on the personal statement. I am interested in doing the course-based route focusing on foreign policy and diplomacy. Do I specify this in my statement of intent? Also, do I need to specify what research I am interested and which professors research I am interested in as well? I plan on explaining my future goals with this masters. Any advice would be great, this is the first time I write one of these for a Masters Program. Thank you

Hi everyone, I am in the process of applying to the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. For those of you currently enrolled in this Masters Program, can you please give me some advice on the reference letter component. Its been 2 years since I've graduated university and I have been working full-time as an administrative & financial clerk, so I was going to provide once academic and one non-academic. For the non-academic, is it better I ask my current manager or should I ask my former manager from my old job? I've been at my job for a few months, since June. For the academic I plan on asking a prof that I took my senior political science courses with (the 400 level mixed with grad students). Also what should my references include in the letter? What should they mostly touch on? The problem with providing 2 academic is that I checked the political science department at my former university and literally every professor that taught me no longer teaches there. Its already a challenge to be able to find one. Thank you!!
