Ecstatic to have accepted my offer from Tulane BMS this morning!!! All facets of the program perfectly complement and support my goals (plus NOLA culture and nightlife is supposed to be a once in a lifetime experience!). After dealing with the dumpster fire that was my Fall 2021 admission cycle I'm so relieved and grateful to have made it to this point. The 3 Texas schools are still pending post-interview, but I will be declining those offers as soon as they come in to give other students a chance at their dream program. I wish you all the best!

I still haven't heard from UT Austin ILS after interviewing the first week of February, but have seen people get accepted already on the results page... has anyone on here heard back from them or is still waiting and know if they're done with offers??

I received my offer from them just now and is it just me, or is it incredibly sus that they are giving us only SIX DAYS to accept or reject? I feel like this is super predatory and shady, I know that the April 15th resolution isn't universal among every US university but 6 days... really??

I'm waiting to hear back from them, haven't received anything yet

Hey everyone, updated my signature to reflect my cycle progress so far! Hella rejections BUT received a Tulane BMS offer, waiting on decisions from UTMB Micro and UT Austin ILS post-interview, and preparing for BCM interview and Colorado State Micro second round interview. My first cycle was a dumpster fire and a half, and many people apply 2 or even 3 times. Remember, all you need is one! Remember also to prioritize your mental health and self care to the best of your ability as the grad school application process is mentally, physically, and often financially tasking, and can be hard to understand for those who haven't experienced it themselves. I'll pop back on when I make a decision

I was rejected from MDA a few weeks back, have yet to hear from ND.

Just wanted to share some updates from the past few days! - first offer (Tulane) on 1/19, 5 days post interview! - interview invite from Colorado State Micro on 1/20 - randomly checked Tufts GSBS portal and got a message saying they already sent interview invites out for my track (Molecular Microbiology) as well as rejections, and if you didn’t get either then your application is still in the pool and you could be contacted later. Counting this as a waitlist lol

Did anyone else apply to Emory GDBBS (specifically Microbiology)? I've seen a few invites have gone out but was curious if anyone knows if they're still sending them, or if they were all in one batch.

Just received an invitation to the in-person visit weekend for UT Austin ILS (January 27-29 on campus)! Super excited, this is my first on site visit and one of my top programs.

Did anyone on here actually get a BBS invite? Or is anyone able to confirm they’re 100% done sending them out?

Does anyone know if Tufts GSBS (specifically MM/MERGE-ID) and UVA BIMS are still sending out invites?

I got a call today from a PI at UTMB who asked me a few basic questions (why this school, research interests etc) and said to look out for an email coming with recruitment weekend details! I am also anxiously awaiting Harvard BBS.

My portals for the two schools I received invites from both still say "Under Review" so I think it's different at each place. Last year, when I applied to Iowa State Biochemistry, it said "Decision Made" or something similar

I submitted my Tufts GSBS application on 11/27 and was wondering about the process too. All I was able to find was that they do interviews Jan through March, and previous interview invites went out the week of Dec 20 last cycle(s), so I think they start reviewing on Dec 1 but you can submit past then.

Baylor College of Medicine interview invite just now (CPSB Track)! Their interviews/recruitment weekend will be Jan 13-15, fully virtual.
