I would say it’s about the same price wise in Nashville unless you live further out from downtown. I’ve lived in several apartments in the city and the one bedroom prices only keep going up. You also absolutely need a car in Nashville if that is an extra expense you need to factor in. I don’t know much about the school in Boston, but I do know the science community is large there and you could make connections easier. Vandy is really the only place that does research in middle TN.

Update! I got an email from them yesterday that I had been accepted, and that I needed to respond by March 20th so they could send offers to those on the waitlist. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure if BCM are still doing interviews or not, I interviewed early in January. I would assume so if they are transferring your application but again not sure. I had a really great experience interviewing there! I also haven't heard anything back from OHSU PBMS. I interviewed last week.

Following the trend, has anyone heard from UChicago Cancer Bio after their interview? I know they just had their second one but I haven’t heard any timeline on when they’d notify us.

Anyone from the first round of Vandy IGP interviews get an update yet? Said we’d know by the end of the month and I haven’t gotten an email or call.

Thank you! Vandy 12/15 via email and Emory yesterday via phone call. Emory did tell me that the interview date I received was the only one they were doing so I'm not sure if that means all initial offers have gone out or not.
