I emailed the program coordinator. Apparently they don’t know for sure if they will have a second round but they say likely yes.

I have a question. Is it common that in your updated decision for phd, the schools rejects you but offer you a master degree instead? I received an email being rejected but admissions head told me to switch to masters with no cost and contact them as soon as possible to be considered for a competitive scholarship.

Just to confirm with y’all who applied for Harvard BBS. Dr. Van Vacto replied an email telling me this year they have received the largest amount of apps in their history and all invitations were sent out already. My first rejection but I am still hopeful yo other programs. Do you think is wise to email another program directors at this time to ask?
