Do you all think most of the invites went out already or that we can expect another batch during the first week of January?
I think next week is going to be the start of a mix of rejections (UCSF, UW) and the beginning of interview invites for the remainder of schools that send out in January (eg. Stanford, MIT).
My guess for schools that already sent out invites that you also don't get a rejection from...there's a chance you're waitlisted and could receive a late interview invitation between mid-January and early February. It looks like last year UW might have sent out a couple more invitations in January

Has anyone heard back from MIT BCS?
BCS and Stanford are typically in January.
It looks like in years past there are a couple invites in December for BCS, but seems like it's clear admits more on the cognitive side. This is speculation though.

Thanks for checking electrophys!!
My guess is that we should be fine, since I’m absolutely sure I uploaded and double checked before submitting. So if they didn’t get it, then it would really just have to be a system error ?
But if anyone who got a UCSD offer doesn’t mind checking, that would really help! Thank you ^^
If it ends up being a system error and no one was able to evaluate your application I'm pretty sure that would be grounds to get a reimbursement of your fee.

I wouldn't worry about the UG GPA the higher degree and research experience will matter. I would ask you one thing since you have a higher degree and a great GPA during it as well....Are you only considering US? You have the MSc so there are great schools in Europe you would be eligible for. Applications are usually free and the programs are shorter (because you have a higher degree already). You can always come back to the US for a postdoc.

I had dropped an email to UCSD about the status of my application and if interview invites were already sent out and here's the email i was sent..
Thank you for your interest in our Graduate Program.
The status of your application can be viewed at any time on your Graduate Application account. If your status is listed as “Under Review,” your application is complete and received. Your official admission decision will be sent to you via email. Notification of your admission decision may take several months and we appreciate your patience during the review process. So maybe they are sending out more invites? God knows!!!! This is so stressful.
Does your application say Under Review? Wondering if those status are actually ever updated.

Second year of applying. Getting nervous after seeing so many interview postings and empty mail box
Does anybody know if UW neuro is done sending interview invitation? I can only see one post... (Dec 15th)
The deadline to respond to the interview slots was yesterday, so I want to say yes.
If people declined then maybe they will go back and invite a couple more but I'm not sure how that works.

Sorry, I reused "clear admits" to try to address two users at once. I only noticed a pattern for December invitations and cognitive backgrounds. I don't think that "clear admits" exist at schools like MIT, Harvard, Stanford, etc. Thanks for clarifying.
