Haven’t heard anything on Duke fin-aid
Edit: I just received an email. Duke funding certainly makes the decision even more difficult as Duke offered more than Yale did (35k/year vs 20k/year). Both are renewable for the second year.
How about the rest? -

Did anyone else receive scholarship/assistantship from Duke NSOE? I wonder if it's just the nicholas scholar that has been released or other assistantships been out too
Haven’t heard anything on Duke fin-aid

There was a second letter attached in the portal, check the bottom of the page. Received fin-aid of 13K/sem
Same here. I got need-based fin-aid (about 10k/sem). Does anyone know what's the max fin-aid YSE can provide?

btw i called YSE to see if I could get a little more intel on what time decisions come out but they just said by 5
they also said that it's going to be sent in mass email, so that means some people will get the email before others. I guess if you start seeing people post on this thread that they got a result and you haven't received anything, don't stress and give it a bit more time!
Thanks @youngturtle. The email will direct us to the application portal right?

Last full day before YSE decision day!! Starting to feel the anxiety again lol
Gonna watch Batman tonight after work to let 3 hours fly by
Feel like taking a day off tmrw ? Btw do you think it’s possible for the results to be out a day earlier? I remember reading in 2020? (or 2019) in which YSE decision was out on the 6th despite email saying the 8th.

Yale will come out on the 11th. This is about a week longer than last year it seems
Out of curiosity, did you call them on the date?

No funding info as of the moment. But it did say in the letter that Duke will inform more about financial aids "by mid-March."

If Duke doesn’t release its decision by today, Duke will break its trend of having released college decision by Feb in previous years.

I don't think it means anything for Masters students, at least for an MEM. I can't speak to the other degrees.
PhD candidates definitely hear back from their PI/advisor, but as an MEM applicant I don't have a PI/advisor to notify me, so I'll hear through email or from checking the portal and seeing it by chance.
I've been checking Duke and Yale portals incessantly, hoping the results would be posted before email notifications are sent out. But it's already Friday, so looks like I have to wait until next Monday

When does everyone think YSE results will come out? I'm thinking as soon as next week Friday, the 4th. For the past two years it's come out on the first week of March so let's hope the pattern continues!
They better be! I don’t think my soul can wait another week ?

Hey everyone, I've been following this thread for a little while now and am wondering if it's likely that Duke will come out this week. In years past, it seems like Duke sent out results around this time or earlier.
Yeah compared to previous years, Duke is unusually slow at releasing results this year. Perhaps they receive unprecedented number of applications?

Hopefully we will get some results this week. ( Duke, UMich, UCSB )
Really hope so ? I emailed Duke to update my CV last week. Surprisingly, the adcom accepted my update, making me think that the review has yet to conclude as of last week. Am I reading this too much or what?

There goes another week with no single responses from the colleges

Anyone heard anything from Yale? The interview should be out from last years experience.
So far haven't heard anything from Yale other than an email saying I need to complete financial aid application by 15 Feb.

Hey everyone! @ryan.nil @MysteriousCong I'm applying to Yale's YSE MEM, UCSB's MESM program at the Bren School, University of Miami's Environment, Culture, & Media (ECM) Program!
@MysteriousCong Wow January is so close! I'm applying for a masters so I hear back in March. What programs are you applying to!
@ryan.nil Looks like we both applied to YSE! My focus is in environmental communications, how about you?
For YSE, I plan to concentrate on energy and the environment as I'm currently in the energy sector and pretty much interested in sustainable energy technologies and policies in developing countries. Do you know if YSE will do interviews for its master applicants?

Finally 2022 thread! Thanks @youngturtle I'm an international applicant seeking for master's degree. Submitted applications to the following programs: YSE, NSOE, GaTech (Master of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management), UT Austin LBJ School, and IU O'Neill School by 15 Dec 2021. Last week, I completed my English assessment zoom interview with NSOE, which I believe is compulsory for all non-native English speakers. Really wish NSOE would release admission results sooner for those who applied by the priority deadline. How about the rest? Which schools did y'all apply to?

Mine is 20k need-based and 15k professional merit. Once you get need-based aid, your total funding will basically cover your tuition and maybe even more! Amazing ?
