  1. I know three people accepted to Mac, 1 in the thesis program and 2 in the critical leadership.
  2. Oh I didn't know that about Dal. I do know that windsor only does in province placements but that could be an option or people willing to live away from home for the 12 weeks or those who can do their hours where they already work. I agree that it really is silly that there arent better options for people who have to work, unnecessary barrier to higher education - just another way to gatekeep it seems
  3. Off the top of my head, there's Laurier, Windsor, and Dal that have 2 year online MSWs in Canada and then there's also post degree bsw options as well.
  4. Does anyone know the tuition cost for windsor MSWwp advanced standing? The estimator only shows the regular on campus msw tuition. It should be the same total right? I'm worried they will charge per term despite offering the exact same thing just 1 term longer.
  5. I recieved an acceptance to Waterloo, does anyone know how to view the letter? I can see the conditions and where to accept/ decline but that's it Edit: I googled it and I dont have the option on Quest, it says it should be available within 24-48 hrs of a decision being made. Can anyone confirm that they did recieve a letter?
  6. I find that people we know give useless feedback to avoid hurt feelings. Its also about the content not so much the grammar, although that is important too. It's always good practice to provide some key info to your references about what you want them to say and to pick people you trust to do a good job. I would never submit a reference without at least a general idea of what they said.
  7. Facebook posts and private message, most people don't post on public forums.
  8. If you don't mind me asking, have you ever had anyone review your application and did you get a chance to review your references? Clearly you have excellent stats so I'm surprised. you want some constructive feedback from an online stranger I'd be willing to review your personal statement and resume - you can blur out any identifying info.
  9. Yes, saw some posts online
  10. Looks like Mac has started releasing acceptances
  11. I was pretty much decided when I applied but tbh it would be difficult to turn down a decent scholarship if my other choice offers one
  12. Did you apply anywhere else? Based on previous forums and from people I know, online programs can be more competitive bc they are more convenient and there's somehow less of them.
  13. Tuition is about 4k per term and each year is 3 terms so it would be about 12k for 1 year or 24k for 2
  14. Just heard back from Windsor mswwp advanced standing and was admitted! Applied early Nov
  15. I also applied to the advance standing Peel, submitted early Nov. I am really hoping I hear this week
  16. Still nothing, when did you submit your application fully and for which stream?
  17. Ohh okay I think I do actually remember seeing it now that you've said more. I did a post-bsw at Mac so that's why I was surprised by the 1 year lol. I also submitted Nov 7 but mine didnt process until Nov 23, and then again Jan 28 so hopefully I hear back soon!
  18. I can't believe I'm just learning now that Renison has a one year bsw! If you dont mind me asking, what date was your mswwp application fully submitted?
  19. While I understand things take time, I thought rolling admissions meant that they review applications on a first come first serve basis.
  20. I emailed about 3 weeks ago and was told my application is in the final stages of processing ?‍♀️
  21. It's been a little over 3 months for me
  22. Did anyone end up hearing from Windsors mswwp advanced standing yet?
  23. I think they release their decisions in March
  24. Same here, I applied to Windsor's advance standing 12 weeks ago.. I'm starting to feel skeptical about the rolling admissions process
