Time to make a difficult decision. I'd love to live in NYC for a couple of years and get my master's from an Ivy League school, but UVA is offering me a partial scholarship and it would only be a year-long program since I did my undergrad there.

Nope, but based on last year's admissions cycle I expect to hear from them tomorrow. Was your interview for the Masters or PhD program?

Out at MIT - just got a nicely worded, generic rejection email. Didn’t expect to get it in at all but it still stings a bit. Congrats to everyone who made it.

Looks like someone reported receiving a text message of admission from Harvard today - did anyone else get this? Just checked the portal and I don't see any update.

I don't remember there being an optional essay. I think I just submitted the personal statement.

I submitted my MIT application last week! It would be an absolute dream to attend, but I have zero expectations. Good luck to anyone else who applied!
