@awesome3141 I know you've gotten into a bunch of top programs (way to go!). Would you be willing to share how the funding packages compare? Did most places offer 1-2 years of fellowship? Did anyone guarantee RAships?
I'm curious about the Columbia rejections on the results board. Did anyone who applied to only the PhD program receive a rejection? I'm wondering if this a "no news is good news" situation... or if their order is 1) PhD admissions 2) PhD rejections but MA acceptance 3) Other PhD rejections.
Thanks for the scouting and reporting back. I would much rather know when to expect a decision. Otherwise, I just keep refreshing. Imagine all the anxiety schools could save us if they'd just announce when decisions will be released.
I feel like I'm in limbo here. Heard back from a few places, but then don't expect to hear from others (like NYU) for another week or two. And yet I keep refreshing my email.
I really wish I knew Berkeley's timeline this year. Two years ago, it was end of January. Then last year, the joint program with demography was Feb 20 or so. So far away!
I had this problem too! If there's anyone else out there wanting to participate, there's a bug if you try to sign up at the bottom of the forum page. Instead, you want to create an account on the main GradCafe page (https://www.thegradcafe.com/signup/), then use your account to sign into the forum.
