  1. I am deciding between UMN and UIC, does anyone have pros/cons of these programs?
  2. Yeah I assume the same, and hopefully opportunities pop up as time goes on. I am local in Chicago, too! It definitely is a top choice but UMN gave me scholarships that make is financially the same so that is a close option too.... will need to visit/talk to people/etc to see which is better for me. It is such a hard choice because long term I would like to be in Chicago
  3. @lazerdunk @TomorrowsParties -- I just received an email from UIC. they said they would be sending more as the week goes on. Accepted with 5k total scholarship -- any good news on your end? I am curious if anyone is receiving assistantships.
  4. I am still waiting on a decision from rutgers..... I have been emailing them and I kid you not this was their response: "Keep checking..."
  5. Right? I was starting to think I was crazy and had imagined them giving us a shorter timeline.
  6. Has anyone heard back on funding for University of Minnesota?
  7. I ended up reaching out to UIC about their estimated timeline and the response I received was "within the next couple of weeks." ? That seems really late considering I applied before Jan 15, but we will see what happens.
  8. No I did not reach out yet... trying to give it a couple more days. I am also super anxious!
  9. Has anyone reached out to UIC? During their info session they said results would be out after 2-4 weeks and we are now hovering 5 ?
  10. For those who applied to UIUC, has anyone heard about financial aid (masters)? They sent decisions in general yesterday.
  11. Heard back from UMN yesterday -- first acceptance! Anyone else hear back? They aren't sending decisions on merit funding until mid-March. Info below... good luck all!
