LOL! I understand your pain. I've been getting dreams like that quite often myself throughout this process. With the current job market, "bus driver" seems closer than ever.
I don't suppose anyone has some insider info on Georgetown's Security Studies MA? I noticed Public Policy all over the result board, but not a single SS. I'm already figuring I'm out on the wave of PhD accepts, but I'm really crossing my fingers for the MA.
I did the same. Do you think they'll send out just one email/letter, or multiple? I merely ask because they mentioned a person may be excepted for one program but not the other. Does anyone know? Curious minds are...curious (and anxious!).
Sigh. 1st rejection today from Princeton. But, I appreciate them sending out en masse, even the rejects, because now I won't be sitting here chewing my nails to bits while the rest receive their acceptances and I'm left in limbo.
Congrats to all who did get in!
Can't escape it trying to find a job straight out of college, and can't even use grad school as some sort of backup (which is the advice I've read from various news outlets--shows what they know!). Why did I (and thousands others) have to be graduating this year? :|
Anyone heard on when Georgetown will reveal? I know general times of two others of my schools, but it's GU I'm most anxious to hear about. And is there a difference for MA and PhD acceptance time frames?
Vices? Who has time? LOL I work two jobs and go to school full time. I'm even 2-5 weeks behind on TV (trust me, this is a huge deal for me)! I hardly have time to think about my applications besides a passing thought as I fall asleep. Well, and when I have several hours at work and am left alone to my own devices...aka reading this forum.
