The committee was excited that our department and college can provide the necessary support you need to prepare for your future career. Maybe they knew someone in the industry and could recommend you to further reach out to them. 3. Evaluating how important social life means to you. A friend of mine, who has a profound talent for math, is studying in Oxford now. He is so depressed because it's really hard to meet new friends if you are in a one-year program. Hope all the best. Hey guys， Just want to share some news. I have friends who are applying for history PhD this year. They have already received several rejects (at least sort of notification) I wonder when will most schools give any kinds of info. Really anxious now.

Big Congrats! I suppose UK programs have earlier notification dates? A friend of mine who is currently studying in Columbia's MA program told me she got the acceptance letter pretty late last year, around early April. I guess most MAs' results would come out at least during last week of Feb or early March?

Hi Hi! I also applied to NYU/Columbia/Georgetown Williams' admission office replied that they are just starting to sort applications. Professors will go through applications in the next few weeks. I guess we will get some updates at least at the last week of Feb. Nice to meet you, I am also in anxious rn.
