Did anyone on the waitlist get invited to the virtual visits? Also did anyone reach out to the university after getting waitlisted?

Hi, did University of Illinois have their (virtual) visit day? I was waitlisted and was wondering if they already did it. Also if anyone is considering declining UIUC, I would much appreciate it if you do it soon. I am literally dying from the inside right now.. Thank you in advance!

Finally got a response from USC- "We're in the process of finalizing decisions and you should receive a notification within a week. " Hopefully I wasn't just waiting for a late rejection email! Congrats! I'm still waiting for UCLA and a waitlist sounds better than a rejection at this point!

The response came on the 4th, so I guess it would take another week or two

Anyone still waiting for results? I really just want to get the final notice and end this cycle. I am still waiting for USC, UCLA, and Georgetown. UCLA emailed me back that they would send out results in 2-3weeks, but I haven't heard from the other two.

Im also an IR but I didnt get an email nor a portal update.

I think that email was sent because the official transcripts were part of the application material and some people omitted it. They were the only school (for me at least) that required an official transcript before offering admissions.

Knowing that Northwestern just had their virtual visit day, I envy that you at least got a rejection email. I'm still waiting for the official results from Northwestern and USC. Btw may I ask why you put down soft rejection for USC? I thought no results were out yet.

I got an email that the portal was updated!

UNC finally sent the rejection notification. I knew I was rejected but it feels better that I finally got some sort of notice from the school.

Congrats!! Hopefully we’ll hear back soon, preferably by today. Thanks for the reply. I noticed the UIUC and Northwestern results posted, but this whole “soft” reject is killing me. At this point a simple I’m sorry email would be better..

Thanks for the reply! I heard that some ppl were interviewed and already got offers. Hopefully we will hear from Georgetown soon!

Hi everyone— I’m still waiting for results from USC, UCLA, UIUC, JHU, Northwestern, Georgetown and UNC. Should I assume its a reject?? Are any of you guys still waiting from these schools?
