Wow, that is appalling. In NYC you can make more $$ per hour working at Target. I wonder who they think would take them up on that offer? Independently wealthy applicants or people whose job would pay?

I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and due in July with my first. ? My partner and I had been told by our MD that we wouldn't be able to have children so you can imagine my surprise when that turned out not to be true. I applied before I knew I was pregnant and (with the help of a supportive partner!) am going to do my best to balance grad school and family life in the fall. I'm sure it will be an occasionally bumpy road, but they've both been lifelong dreams, so.. we will see what happens!

I checked my email this morning and was thrilled to see an acceptance to CUNY SPH in Epidemiology (PhD). The program is a great fit for me and was actually the only one I applied to this season, so I'm beyond thrilled it worked out - I know they've been getting much more competitive in recent years so I had my doubts. First time post from another long time lurker. Congrats! I've also got an interview with CUNY SPH coming up this week for Epi. It's my first interview and I'm also nervous. If you don't mind my asking, is your interview panel professors from the admissions committee or professors who would be your potential advisor?
