Update that on Friday I received an 'invite' on ACORN for UofT and today I received an official letter of admission of SGS portal and an email indicating that a decision was made there. Hope this helps anyone gain an idea of how long it takes from ACORN to email!

Yes! I just called OISE admissions and they said they see on my file that there is a decision ready to be released and it should be coming anyway now, but they said that if it already says invited that is a good sign (the person on the phone wasn't able to access what the decision was)

Regarding your question about McMaster, my understanding is that programs can only apply for CRPO after they have a graduating class, and since Mac's program is 2 years old, their first graduating class is happening now and then they will be applying in the near future.

I was interviewed Feb 14, so I was so anxious when others heard back and I didn't. I'm going to assume they were waiting for some candidates to reject their offers before sending out this round? I'm not sure..

I just got an email with an informal offer of admission to McMaster Psychotherapy, with an official letter that should be coming soon. Just letting y'all know

Incase anyone was also waiting, I got an email today at 12:30 with an acceptance from Laurier to their psychotherapy program! Don't lose hope!!!

Are you talking about ACORN? I tried to get onto JOINid and it said my account was invalid or something, even though I had activated it.

Has anyone heard anything new today? UofT, Mac and Laurier have been real quiet with me, and I know others have been getting acceptances, waitlists and rejections.

I still just don't believe that they actually made a rejection list before they decided the program wouldn't run. Maybe it's my own bias for thinking oh how could I be rejected, but they claim that 200 people apply each year and 20 get interviews, and I don't think 20 people have been told they have guaranteed interviews for next year. I think they just picked a few to save their reputation so that they could claim people were indeed chosen and others rejected. I appreciate the money back, though.

Did someone from admissions say something to suggest this? And when is second round admissions lol #panicking

Is this everyone's first time applying? I thought I heard somewhere it was hard to get into this program on your first try, which was a tad discouraging.

This is so exciting! Do you have any thoughts about whether you'd want to accept Mac, or wait it out to see how the other schools play out. Also- just wondering since you're the only person who I've heard of that has gotten an acceptance- is this your first time applying to these programs?

Glad I'm not the only one who had a breakdown...I literally had to stop and google "yoga for anxiety" - send help If today Susan told you that they're still sending out offers until the end of March then I guess they weren't all sent out yesterday!! We're still in the running

Let me know if anyone hears from McMaster today or tomorrow or something - I did not get an email yesterday and I'm feeling like this could be an assumed rejection or they're just sending emails in bunches. Anxiety on high lol

Congratulations, that's awesome news!!!! What time did you get the email? I wonder how soon is too soon to assume that if you haven't received any news.

Does anyone have an update on the complaints made to various boards regarding the gross way that Guelph handled their applications? I just received my rejection today on Guelph WebAdvisor, and it hurts. Even though I know that I was not personally rejected, but rather everyone was just told they were reject because the program literally isn't running, it's making me feel nasty and like I have been taken advantage of by a school and administration the had the chance to be transparent but chose secrecy and loopholes. I would be interested to hear about if anyone has heard back from those they made complaints to, or that post about the newspaper that wanted to run a story.

So I didn't because the laurier application didn't make it very clear that Snapshot was necessary, but let me know if admissions gets back to you.

Does anyone know if Laurier's Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program has an interview component to the application?

Don't lose hope yet. I'm also so upset about what happened with Guelph because it was my top program, and I'm trying to stay strong that one of the other schools will come through. If you got interviews for Western and Mac you must have awesome applications!
