I received conditional admission to UBCO 2 year program yesterday morning and I was given until april 28th to decide on my offer. I applied Dec 3rd, I'm currently in the process of questioning one of the conditions given as it wasn't on the admissions requirements and doesn't quite make sense...i haven't heard back from them yet, so i honestly have no idea what is going to happen.
Thanks I hope so too, although I'm not really holding out hope...I totally don't understand what they mean by rolling admissions now as I haven't heard yet and it sounds like timewise I should have.
I emailed the admins office yesterday and they said they don't a waitlist- but maybe they just don't publicize that they have one- because surely they wouldn't operate with empty spots?
Anyway, congrats to you!
i haven't heard back anything yet- applied dec 3rd, references in dec 7th, got first email about application being under review jan 11th and second feb 7th. If it's rolling admission- in that they give decisions based on when people applied- i would have thought i would have heard by now...so no idea what to think...do UBCO keep a waitlist?
Congrats!
University fees are set by the province, (Kings/UWO are in Ontario and UVIC/ UBCO are in BC) Ontario is one of the most expensive provinces for school. I believe there is now a cap on how much they can go up per year.
For those waiting for UBC-O foundational it looks like some domestic applicants last year heard March 26th- so fingers crossed we might hear tomorrow. Please update if you do!
Did you apply for the advanced or foundational program? Seems really strange to release decisions on a "rolling basis" rather than just send out all acceptances/rejections! Let us know when you hear anything!
UBC-O is on a rolling basis, so it seems like it depends on when you applied. They started releasing decisions in mid feb and will go until April some time. When did you apply?
Has anyone heard from UBC-O? Does anyone know if advanced standing and foundational standing come out at the same time? The wait is killing me, I thought decisions would come out march 3rd.
edit: just got a response back from admissions and they said that decisions have been being released since mid feb and will continue until about april, and that it's a rolling process. If you don't get notified right away do you think that means you are likely rejected?
