Just got a letter saying that UCSD is unable to give me any fellowship money. They then directed me towards different scholarships I could apply for. Whelp at least I am a Californian resident.

Did anyone hear back for the merit aid offers yet? Also, does anyone know if this included the total financial aid package or does that come at a later time?

Yup, I got the same thing. They told me that I would have to take the economic+math camp (yuck!). As for financial aid, my letter told me that the fellowship decisions should be given by March 17th.

Hello! I just got my official acceptance from UCSD for the MIA program and I am struggling on what I should do. My dad wants me to apply to GWU but I probably won't get any funding. However, my career goals are more align with international security (preferably in regards to the Middle East). Is anyone familiar (current or past GPS student) if I could get a job connected to international security (preferably in DC) if I attend UCSD? Also, even though I would have to focus on an Asian or Latin American region, are there classes that on the Middle East (or Europe)?
