I was basing it on the email I received in 2020 when I was waitlisted but I guess it goes up and down each year but definitely under 40. Either way, very limited spots.

Heyy hello! I received my acceptance e-mail from Dalhousie University this past week. I ended choosing Audiology and was wondering if we could connect since you seem familiar about the whole environment. I just saw that you’re probably in S-LP, but any advice would be great!  Let me know! :)

Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats? Also, do you know if they are sending offers out based on alphabetical order?

    Stats:

Bachelor’s of Education 3.93 GPA UQAM Montreal QC, CANADA

    150 hours volunteering with S-LP

Research Assistant at University of Montreal and McGill university

Substitute teacher ESL at my old highschool.

And my last name is Galette, but I don’t know if they go in alphabetical order ?

Thank you! :) I have a 4.0 according to my current university’s scale, but when my GPA was converted on OPRAS my sGPA was 3.97 and overall GPA was 3.96. (I’m not sure how they calculated it for Dal). I’m finishing an honours degree in behavioural neuroscience and have approximately 1000 research hours in that area/the psychology department. I have over 400 hours working in an audiology clinic and extensive volunteer experience in healthcare-related areas (CHHA, brain injury association, long-term care, eating disorder foundation, Diabetes Canada, etc.).

Heyyy hello I just got accepted too! Would you like to talk? I’m looking for friends since I’m a Quebec applicant and it’s actually stressful ahahha

  5. Accepted S-LP and Audiology at Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia… I just cannot believe it. I haven’t work as much for something than to get accepted into grad school. It’s not my universityof choice, but it still feels amazingly great to know that hardwork pays off. I’m a black man that grew up in a tough neighborhood in Montreal and never applied myself in highschool and to have been accepted into grad school, I just can’t believe it.

Now I have to worry about tuition and moving but still… wow … just don’t know how to react…
