According to evolution, there would have been a time where nothing had the ability to taste things then one day this completely new unknown things evolves because of a specific genetic sequence. My question is if there is still the possibility for new things to arise that perhaps is unknown from genetic code or is there some kind of limit to genetics that prevent any further evolutionary possibilities. As a side question, does anyone know why certain genetics sequences produce what they do? Is there a certain order genetics code follows?
