  1. I guess i'm more looking at it from a newly graduated student perspective where you'd probably still work part time and not lose 65k lol (and not assuming you'd get a job immediately after graduating) but yeah I get it's more of a loss if you were a professional doing the program. I still just find the program to be extremely exclusive and not a justifiable cost even if it might save you some money in the long term since affording it in the moment is crazy but totally get that's dependent on the person and their situation (and oops didn't realize they were using UofT for that comparison my bad!)
  2. I know this is what Western also says on their website, but at least for programs I applied to, most were 16 months and so were much cheaper than the comparison they make on their website. I think they definitely raise the price of the "24 month program fees" comparison to make it seem like they are the better option because 36k for just program fees is ridiculous. Having a program with OSAP will make a huuuge difference. The alternative would be to take out loans through a bank I'd guess but I'd guess the interest rates would be higher. I'd also ask the program directly what their payment schedule is, and if you can find a way to make multiple payments instead of like two large sums at fall/winter term.
  3. I received an email notification telling me there was an update to my application then on the portal it had the rejection! And thank you! It's just nice to finally have heard back from everywhere and wishing the best with your applications!
  4. Just got my rejection from UofT Health promo! LOL sad but happy to finally know, and now i can start being more excited about going to Queen's!
  5. Who did you email to get the update from UofT? I emailed Suzanne late last week but didn't get a response. Thank you for sharing the update though!
  6. That's awesome! Did you hear back today or yesterday? Just wondering if they're still sending out offers or if they already sent them all out yesterday
  7. Hoping this is the week we hear back from UofT MPH Health Promo! Has anyone heard about any offers going out last week? I know the website says offers start going out end of March but haven't heard about anyone receiving a response yet.
