...for lack of a better term. Theoretically, if a significantly massive object were to suddenly appear amongst smaller masses, and then be suddenly obliterated, would those smaller objects still gravitate towards the now-void? Or would it just appear that way because the smaller masses were influenced by the object, no matter how short-lived its presence was?
