Thank you for your response. Do you happen to know from personal experience or from others if there are decent research opportunities at ccny/cuny grad center? I Have had a hard time getting a sense of it. I have heard that it is pretty grim at new school in that regard.

I would appreciate any thoughts, today is the acceptance deadline and I thought I made up my mind and now I am having doubts. I was accepted to the psych ma at new school and ccny. (Doing ma before phd to bolster my transcript) New school gave me a 50% scholarship. Ccny is obv very affordable but I am out of state, so it’s quite a bit more expensive than for in state (855/credit+fees) I am also concerned about ccny courses, because many are during the day and I need to work. New school has more evening courses which is helpful, and I could apply to their clinical phd program after doing the ma there. But the phd is rarely funded. I’ve also heard terrible things about new school? People seem to hate it. I want to consider what will look best for applications to phd programs as well. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, I am so stressed out trying to make up my mind. Thanks so much for reading.
